 A cart full of vegetables is a fusion of freshness, taste, and power nutrition all together!

Seeing various sizes and shapes of veggies and the vibrant colors, they are indeed soothing to the eyes. These raw creations of the farms are one of the most reliable sources of nutrition.

Starting from all the Green veggies and herbs- spinach, cabbage, amaranth, asparagus, green beans, cucumber, etc. These are high in iron, vitamins, fiber, and minerals. Due to their high content of flavonoids and carotenoids. Greens work as an anti-oxidant, incredible for heart, bone, skin health.

Red, yellow and orange! These juicy, and dense edibles have great amounts of vitamins and minerals. These are superfoods for your micro-nutrient requirements. From eyes to hair and skin health, these colorful veggies won’t disappoint!

Tomatoes, pumpkin, lemons, red/orange/yellow pepper, Carrots, and More. Include these in salads, sauces, soups, or our favorite Indian gravies. Explore all the ways to increase its consumption! 

Brinjals with shades and tints of violet. Are rich in Folate, Phosphorus, potassium, fiber, and various Vitamins and minerals. While there are fewer blue and purple veggies, brinjals do have a great role in Indian cuisine. From ’baingan ka bharta’, to dry and gravy curries, immense ways to add your tadka to the Vegetable King.

Onions are also one of the most exploited by Indians!  ( 😛 ) these purple veggies have phytochemicals acting as an anti-bacterial food in our diets

Next, come our roots and tubers! The brown bliss! Potatoes, sweet potatoes, beetroot, radish. These are undoubtedly beneficial to the intestine due to their good fiber content. A colony for good bacteria is initiated. Potatoes are one of the best sources of potassium, sodium, and phosphorus.

White veggies, like garlic, mushrooms have Anti-viral properties, much needed in current times.

All these veggies are a blessing to the Anemic Patients. Weakness, constant fatigue, inefficiency might be possible symptoms of micronutrient deficiencies. Do get your blood tested for deficiencies, earlier the better! And start including this beauty of nature in your diets

Vegetables are proved to be helpful in IBS (irritable bowel syndrome).

Today IBS has become a common scenario looking at the increase in the high carbs, sugar diets. Stress plays a role in our digestive system as well. Abdominal cramps, bloating, irregular bowel movement, constipation. These are some potential signs of difficulty.
